Welcome to Clementine Creatives! These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our website (ClementineCreatives.co.uk) and services, including live illustration events and custom artwork commissions. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

1. General Information

  • Clementine Creatives is a mother-and-daughter business based in Cardiff, Wales, specialising in live event illustration and bespoke artwork.

  • Our services include live illustration at events and the sale of custom illustrations through our online shop.

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone engaging with our services.

2. Orders & Payment

2.1 Custom Illustration Orders

  • All custom illustration orders are made to order and are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged upon arrival.

  • Orders must be placed through our website. Full payment is required at checkout before we begin work on your illustration.

  • Turnaround times vary depending on workload and the complexity of the illustration. Estimated delivery times will be communicated upon order confirmation.

2.2 Live Illustration Services

  • Our live illustration service is available for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 6 weeks before the event and is non-refundable.

  • In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or reschedule where possible.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 Custom Illustration Orders

  • Due to the personalised nature of our illustrations, we do not accept cancellations or offer refunds once work has begun, unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.

  • If an order is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos, and we will arrange a replacement.

3.2 Live Illustration Bookings

  • We operate a no-cancellation policy. Cancellations will not receive a refund unless we are able to fill the space with another client. We will try our best to do so but cannot guarantee availability.

4. Client Responsibilities for Live Illustration Events

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details, including location, date, timings, and any other relevant information. Clementine Creatives is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete details provided by the client.

  • Clients must inform their venue that we require a designated space with a table and two chairs, located near a plug socket or power source. Failure to provide this setup may impact the service, and refunds will not be issued for inadequate arrangements.

  • We will take photographs of wedding parties at events to use as references for illustrations. These images may also be used on our social media, website, or marketing materials. If a client prefers not to have their photographs used for promotional purposes, they must notify us before the event.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail.

  • Clementine Creatives is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Intellectual Property & Usage

  • All artwork created by Clementine Creatives is protected by copyright and remains our intellectual property.

  • Customers may use purchased artwork for personal use only. Commercial use, reproduction, or resale is not permitted without prior written consent.

  • We reserve the right to use images of commissioned illustrations for promotional purposes unless the customer requests otherwise at the time of ordering.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

  • While we strive for accuracy in our artwork, our illustrations are artistic interpretations and may not be exact photographic representations.

  • We are not responsible for any dissatisfaction arising from artistic style preferences.

  • We are not liable for any losses, damages, or delays caused by third-party courier services.
